You could create or print out some invitations to your Super Bowl party.
One good idea would be if the invites look like tickets to watch American football for example.
Another idea for a SuperBowl Sunday party invite could be to take a picture of an American football player on his playing outfit, remove his head with photo editing software and add the face of the person who is hosting the party.
Don't have time? Get some invites from Amazon. Here's a selection.
In the kitchen, have people who enjoy cooking, and get the others to prepare the games and get everything ready to watch the match.
Don't forget to give the cooks a glass of wine, soda or beer, too!

You could get two footballs, paint them with the colours of the teams that are playing the championship game and, when the paint dries, you can write on them with black painting the name of the teams.
You could use black felt-tip pens or markers instead to write the name of the teams on the footballs. Then place them on top of a table or in any other visible spot of the room.
Here are some Super Bowl decorations from Amazon.com:
Perhaps you may want to get a piece of rope and stick one side of the rope wih some tape to the football, and then the other side to the ceiling or to a lamp and hang the footballs.
Create your own football. Just get some pieces of newspaper, squeeze then up and give them a football shape. Paint the paper footballs with the colors of the teams that are playing.
Print smaller pics of former MVP American football players or some of the players that are going to play the game and stick them on the disposable plastic cups that you are going to use to drink from.

Hungry for some SuperBowl Sunday recipes? Menu plans causing you some heartburn? We're here to help.
So what does a normal Super Bowl party menu consist of?
The answer to this question is quite easy if we remember that we're watching the SuperBowl, therefore it makes sense to eat something typically American.
Another issue is when we are going to be eating, if before the game starts or just during the game. (Usually before, during AND after!)
Get the snacks readied in time before your game day gathering with this Touchdown Field Chip n' Dip Set by Boston Warehouse.
The set comes with a gloss-finished rectangular tray featuring an intricately hand-painted football field design and a football-shaped bowl.
You will never miss a moment of football action because the tray has a large capacity which means there'd be smaller refills for your part. What a fun way to serve loads of snacks!
Or you can go a bit fancier, like this deluxe Beer Buttered Beef Sandwich (thanks to the United Nations of Beer for this idea).
Mexican SuperBowl Sunday Recipes
The American palate is international these days. In the United States, Mexican food is quite popular. Mexico is just south of the border of the United States, so its influence both in the USA culture and language have always been there, including its food and recipes.
So you could make some quesadillas, burritos and get some nachos to be dipped in guacamole for example.
The advantage of the most popular Mexican food is that it is quite fast and easy to cook and light to eat and digest, especially nachos, as they are only some kind of snacks or crackers and they would be great for food whilst watching the game.
Chinese SuperBowl Sunday Recipes
Americans eat a lot of Chinese food as well, so you could make some noodles or rice with some tangerine chicken, lemon chicken, sweet and sour pork, stir fry pork a l'orange, etc.
Serve Chinese food in those little square boxes typical to takeout restaurants and with a choice of forks or chopsticks. Everybody looks cooler eating with chopsticks!
Popcorn is very popular in the United States and is a common snack to be eaten whilst watching the Super Bowl. There are tons of gourmet popcorn options these days (a note to party games organizers: gourmet popcorn makes delicious, and affordable, prizes for winners of your games).
You may want to creae a SuperBowl Sunday Cocktail, pick some red or white wine for the girls, or serve soft drinks or soda (Coca Cola, Pepsi, Fanta, etc.) as a non-alcoholic alternative for designated drivers and teetotalers.
Either way, you will look like a true party pro if you serve up cocktails or virgin drinks with perfectly crushed ice.
This amazing pro-quality ice crusher from Waring is the best-selling item of its type on Amazon, and with good reason.
It delivers perfect crushed ice, every time. Just what you need to make the best party cocktails.
You'll be able to use it for many years, and many party occasions. It's a snap at around $75 with free shipping!
SuperBowl Sunday Beer Choices
You could write an entire series of articles about the "best" bottled beer choices for the Super Bowl.
Everybody has their own opinion, so it's probably best to let guests bring their own beer to save any arguments!
If you want to be REALLY clever, find two different beers: one brewed in the city or State of each team involved in the championship game. Then partisan party guests can drink their "home" beer!
Grab your favorite beverage after scoring a touchdown at your tailgating party with this Football Fan Inflatable Cooler. It measures 29 ½" x 14" and holds up to 72 drinks. This cooler features the word "touchdown" against a green background and has an oversized football in the center. Inflate and fill it with ice to enjoy your ice cold drinks right away!
Super Bowl Snacks
Pretzels could be good snacks for during the game, or some chocolate bars and candies or any other kind of sweets. Don't overdo the snacks if you plan on serving a large meal at the end of the game.

SuperBowl Sunday Betting Games
Watching the Super Bowl and playing some Super Bowl party betting games can be the blast of the Super Bowl party.
You can dress up as an American Football Player, as a cheerleader, as Latoya Jackson or as Justin Timberlake, but if you also bet something during the game, that will make the party even more interesting and fun.
You can create SuperBowl Sunday party betting games just betting on worthless things like some old pants, T-shirts, some beers or something of more value like some money, a music CD, a PC or console game, a bottle of spirit or wine or whatever is appealing to your crowd.
But any bets on items that have relation to the SuperBowl or the American football league, such as SuperBowl-branded merchandise, an American football ball, or team-related NFL Finger Football board game would be ideal prizes.
If you don't want to make it too serious and risk people getting too frustrated about the loss of whatever they bet, just bet on small-ticket items, or play money, with a small cash prize for the winner (say, a couple of bucks each).
As long as everybody has to come to the Super Bowl party with some money, or some items they're willing to lose, bets can take place. If there are people who are unhappy betting, you can either exclude them, or keep the betting games more private.
You can basically make SuperBowl Sunday party betting games in two different ways. You can bet on what people think could be the different results of the quarters, which player is going to score the first touchdown or field goal, what team is going to win the match, etc. so the betting game is based on people's guesses.
Or you can do a hazard bet, just like a Super Bowl bingo or a kind of Super Bowl draw. Write numbers in little pieces of paper from 0 up to 50, with the name of each team on them, so in total they would be 102 pieces of paper (51 per team).
Mix these pieces of paper up and make everybody pick 2 pieces of paper from the two teams that are playing. The winner of these Super Bowl party betting games would be the one that gets two pieces of paper with the numbers closest to the score of the match after deducting their number from each score.
Example: the score of the game turns out to be team A: 24 team B: 10 for a total of 34 points. The person playing gets the number 5 for team A and number 6 for team B, so then the difference would be (25-5)+(10-6)= 20+4 = 24. So the person that gets the smallest difference with the result of the game wins. If there is a draw between two people then the person who got a closer number to the score of the winner team wins the bet.
Another idea for SuperBowl party betting games would be to draw a chart, with Microsoft Excel or some other spreadsheet software, saying: Score 1st Quarter, Score 2nd Quarter, Score 3rd Quarter, Score 4th Quarter, Player that Scores the First Touchdown (it could be the Second, Third, etc. as well), Player that Scores the First Field Goal (or the Second, Third, etc.), MVP of the match, etc.
Print these charts out and each person writes on these charts what they think will happen. The person who makes the most guesses wins. You could also give inexpensive prizes for each guess, such as candies or a beer, and a bigger prize for the person who makes the most guesses and who is going to be the winner of the betting game.
